What schools don't want you to know?- A funny busting of school myths

There are few things that schools hide from the students. The reason might be anything. I am not judging whether they are good or bad. The following observations are judged based on some general assumptions and it must not hurt the sentiments of any institution

They try to hide that

1.The teachers are the paid stuffs of the foundation and there is a boss of them instructing everything- Yeah, it is done in order to maintain a guardian relationship of teachers with the students. If the teachers are portrayed as a paid employee of an enterprise, the students might take their effort for granted.

2. They are highly responsible for a failure of a student.- Students are not only the source of income but also their success is the goodwill of the institution. Hence, the teachers are instructed by the principal managing board to take utmost care of all the students. They are highly focused on rejuvenating the school average in board exams and other competitive fields. So, even a slow learning student can get superb attention from the teachers if they show their willingness to them. Let me share my experience when I was struggling badly in some Mathematical concepts in my 12th grade and I provided so many application to the Principal and he separately arranged classes for me though there was no such facility in my school.

3. There is a risk of interpellation of a teacher if a student scores bad in exam- It is true that the teacher's success depends upon the student's success so when a student is unable to clear an examination, the teacher is answerable to the authority.

4. They love to do partiality and know the importance of it- Partiality is an integral part of every system and it is unavoidable. Truly speaking that partiality sometimes advantages the people to get opportunities. But, when it turns out to be unethical , it creates a corruptive farrago. Partiality is different from nepotism and thus the topper of the class can be seen at the Auditorium hall. We should look into productive partiality to deserving students and keep away the favoritism to substantiate favoritism.

5. The prospectus is intentionally made with exaggerated details- That is why it is called Prospectus. Have you heard about prospectus before launching an IPO of a Company. It is similar. Prospectus influences you to get admitted to the college. So, be sure of learning and clarifying your confusions regarding any institution and don't get in problem later.

6. The teachers also have children who do not study properly- Yeah, this sounds funny but it is true. Teachers are idle of our life but they may not handle their personal life and grooming of their own children, It must not seem awkward.

7. They check exam papers more rigorous than the board exams- It is because they want to prepare the students better. When a student is prepared to get through a harder exam, he/she can easily crack the easier too.

8. Life in school is not so beautiful- Now, this is a controversial topic but many students might not enjoy to the fullest of their school life. Nowadays, schools are very strict in preparing their students to build competitive at the cost of their passion and life lessons. If they are to embrace and cherish this life, they have to be given opportunity to do so. Many news of ragging, bullying, depression come which tell that education industry is still not moderated properly.

9. Their reputation is dependent upon the students- I have already explained it in the previous points that lessons are the product, student's success is their goodwill and report cards are the customer feedback.

10. School is not a temple, it is a mini bus journeying to the temple. (satire)- OH SORRY! If I hurt someone's belief but I think that it is a deemed temple. We need to work on rigorously to build up the ideal virtues within this system of education. Nothing is perfect thus I consider School to be the mini bus of pilgrimage.
