  • ·        Try to attempt 100% questions. Be fast from the beginning so that you have time to revise.
  • ·        Even your last day revision matters.
  • ·        Utilize reading time to carefully prioritize the questions. It is not advised to read the compulsory questions at that time. For MCQs no reading time is given.
  • ·        Amendments, latest RTP and 2 MTPs are must. If you don’t have time to solve, just go through the sample answers.
  • ·        For Accountancy- Do no spend more than 40 minutes on AS,
  • ·        For Tax, plan your time for MCQs. They will be tricky and lengthy. In paper, you should be prepared for new and lengthy questions.
  • ·        For Practical subjects, maintain steps in answers. Huge step marks are provided.
  • ·        For costing and FM, theory can be a saviour so just go through once for risk aversion.
  • ·        For law, don’t write wrong sections, days if you are not confident. They are only for impression. Focus on provision. For case studies, format should be 1. Provision 2. Facts and Analysis 3. Conclusion
  • ·        Use keywords and exact pointers in your answers as much as possible
  • ·        If you can’t answer a question, do not leave. Write what you know pertinent to the topic.
  • ·        Presentation should be neat, standard and clear. Do not try to confuse the examiner.
  • ·        Fill OMR sheets carefully and darken the circles properly.
  • ·        In eis sm, write relevant points and keywords. Make diagrams and give examples. SM is easier so complete it faster and earlier. MCQs are normally very easy and it is recommended to solve the MCQ booklet.
  • ·        Utilise gaps between two exams. It is normal to get fatigue but you must motivate yourself.
  • ·        Even if an exam does not get well, never get panicked. Just focus on the next. After my tax exam, I literally cried and thought about not giving group 2 but I got 57 in tax. Believe that God helps those who have worked hard.
  • ·        Carry extra black pens that are good quality and tested by you. Carry 2b pencils, sharpener, eraser, staplers and sellotapes. Don’t forget to carry admit cards. It is advised to set wrist watch 5-10 minutes ahead.
  • ·        Try to eat healthy foods, take baths and have at least 6 hours of sleep during exam days. Be in touch with your family for your mental peace. Do not remain connected with social media during this phase.
  • ·        While doing calculation, be careful for viewing, inserting, and writing data. Use calculators patiently. Do not rely on mental calculation much during exam time.
